I decided to stay quiet. I went into a little cocoon and it made me realize how sometimes mental breaks are a necessity. I started sleeping more and thinking of my priorities and what made me happy. Sadly, this meant I had to leave the comfortable and homey place I called work. I had to leave what I consider my second family, a group of people that picked me up and dusted me off more time that I could remember. A place I knew the ins and outs of like the back of my hand for a new adventure.
Because you never know who might be reading this, we are going to leave it at "adventure" . Lets just say that I have a set schedule that permits for many weekend escapes and I have not had a lazy weekend day since I started. It had been awesome and I am glad I decided to leap instead of staying put.
As for travel, I have done a few trips since my last post and 4th quarter looks promising. For anyone out there that wants to starts traveling and does not have the funds, I think its a great option to get a Monday-Friday! This allows you to travel more in smaller periods of time as well as getting professional experience that might come in handy for the future.
So, the moral of my story is take the leap. Comfort sometimes does not let you grow as a person and its probably the hardest bandaid to rip off. New things might not be a cup of tea at the beginning, but like everything, it too shall pass.
